Just a quick update before we call it a night... We have arrived safely to South Africa with all of our luggage in tow and all guitars FULLY FUNCTIONAL!
Every step on the way out of the US caused difficulty - from having to repack every one of our bags at the gate, to deplaning at CLT before replaning and sitting for another hour, to sitting on the plane at ATL for 2 hours waiting - but life has been smooth sailing so far in South Africa.
Special thanks to our new friend @sarabeth127 at 127 Worldwide for allowing us to severely cramp her style in the airport shuttle and for sharing our first dinner here together. ("No everything" is apparently how you order a cheeseburger with only cheese.)
