Thoughts on our "U.S. FAREWELL TOUR - 2025"
We have great friends. We have great family. We belong to an amazing church.
We have never felt such a wild mix of joy, sadness, anticipation, and apprehension all at the same time quite like we just did.
It honestly felt like a living funeral. Everyone was talking to us like they would never see us again, which was weird at first... then we realized how we were all saying the things that we had always wanted to say to each other. Why don't we do that every day? It was a great lesson to us to not waste any time when we are together and to always speak truth.
Now that we are in Africa and our minds are starting to shift back into work mode, creative mode, problem solving mode, and (even sometimes) survival mode - we made so many memories over the past few months that it would be a shame to not revisit them.
